My Story

I'm a long-term missionary with ReachGlobal, which is the mission's arm of the Evangelical Free Church of America, or EFCA. I'm from Kansas and grew up with a love and curiosity about Japan! I first fell in love with Japan when I was five. Japan has continued to influence my whole life.  In 2012 a year after becoming a Christian, God made my life’s purpose abundantly clear: I was made to serve in Japan.

I’ve been serving in central Tokyo since January of 2021 with the ReachGlobal's Tokyo City Team. Our team's vision is for God to transform Tokyo through an ever-increasing presence and influence of people who treasure Jesus above all else. We do this through multiplying small churches by developing, empowering and releasing disciple-makers who make disciple-makers. Prayer ministries, like PrayYamanote, PrayGakushuin, and prayer walking as a team in our neighborhoods.  And we reach out to university students and residents living and working in the Mejiro area of Tokyo through English conversation and community building activites. ​​​
